Once a student achieves 6th Kyu we
recommend a minimum of two classes per week
be attended to ensure sufficient progress is made to achieve their next grade.
When a student achieves 1st Kyu the rules
of grading change and
they must must have the agreement of a club instructor before they may sit their
next grading.
Higher Dan grades are more complex, the training time extends over a longer period.
